#EVENT MVZE 9 x Team 360 Presents Something Dope #SomethingDope16 | Coming To Your University!

Something dope 2

Word on the street is “Something Dope” is coming to a university near you, so I dug deeper, asked a few questions and now, I’m bringing you the tea! Something dope!

MVZE 9 ‘A Creative Collective’ teams up with Team 360 ‘An event planning outfit’ to create a music entertainment initiative – SOMETHING DOPE 16. This is a music tour that is going to hit as many as 6 cities between September and October 2016. Something Dope features indie and fast rising artists and performers from Canada who have carved a niche in the entertainment scene and are now looking to cause some major damage.

As for which Artists are on the project, Dre – one the leading planners on the project had this to say

“ I have spent most of my time booking these artists as opening acts for other major artists, whom most are as good as and so I think its time these “opening acts” get some buzz on their own with help and support of their peers and core audience.”

But this show is different, it has some cool twists like – a live open mic session where almost any one with a budding talent or act can sign up to perform when SOMETHING DOPE hits your city. It will also feature other dope artists not on the roster when in their host’s city. The show will go from September 23rd till October 15th and this year, they will be making stops in these cities:

· Mississauga, ON

· Toronto, ON

· Guelph, ON

· Waterloo, ON

· Windsor, ON

· Oshawa, ON

MVSE 9 teams up with University groups and Promoters as hosts presenting this initiative it in their various cities. These include;

The Erindale College African Students Association (ECASA)

The African Students Association at UOIT

The Guelph Black Students Associaiton

Irene “Reney Fresh” Edebiri

RG Entertainment

The Nigerian Students Association at York University.

It also teams up with local acts, media publications and city vendors to deliver one heck of a production.

Be sure to check back for more information and surprises on The Kscope.

#EVENT AFRICA GIVES BACK INTERNATIONAL GALA 2016 | Friday, Aug. 19th @ Martin’s Crosswinds #Maryland | Campaign & Event Details

7-3

Everyday Warriors – Africa Gives Back International’s (AGBI) philosophy is that everyone, no matter what race or background is a warrior; and all have battle scars to show for it; either metaphorically, mentally or physically. These scars can be from one’s trials and tribulations and life’s experiences. Furthermore, how one uses and hones those experiences into a positive and productive nature further establishes one as an “Everyday Warrior”

Goal of the Campaign: The “Everyday Warriors” campaign is a 17 photo and film exhibition focusing on the concept a warrior through the notions of Leadership, Strength and Empowerment. All of which are shown in a different light – through a juxtaposition ROYALTY and WARRIORS – Being one and the same. This is achieved by the meticulous placement and use of Medieval Armor, Ankara Prints, Couture African Fashions, Melaninated Ambassadors

(Sira Kante – Guinea, George Afrekh – South Sudan, Prince Coker – Ghana, and Jiraurd Key – U.S.A).
